Description

For use with calcium alginate swabs. The sodium hexametaphosphate in the formula will enable the alginate swabs to completely dissolve. This ensures total release of all the organisms taken up by the swab to increase the accuracy of a quantitative bacterial count.

Method for reconstitution

Dissolve 12.5 grams of powder in 1 litre of deionised water. Dispense 10ml amounts into screw cap containers and sterilise by autoclaving at 121˚C for 15 minutes.
