Coag-o-test REF INTENDED USE
(For In Vitro Diagnostic Use Only)
For use with ACL Coagulemeter series (100-7000) instruments for adjusting and washing the instruments. SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND
The ACL equipments determine the endpoint of the clotting process by nephelometric method.
The equipments need an emulsion for adjusting the calibration and for washing the fluid circuit between the working steps.
Any other information concerning the measurements, see the corresponding manual of the equipments. ACTIVE INGREDIENTS
Silicon emulsion less than 1%
NaCl less than 0,9%
NaAzid less than 0,01 % PRECAUTIONS Do not use reference emulsion beyond the expiration date printed on the label! Avoid microbial contamination of this product or erroneous results may occur. The reagent contains toxic Sodium Azide!
PREPARATION
This product is ready for use. INSTRUCTION FOR USE
This product is intended for educated laboratory personal.
The product has to be at room temperature well before use (24h)
Open the bottle and connect the suction tube to it, and fix the stopper again.
Prepare every reagents and disposables for the measurements according to the manual.
Do not mix this emulsion with the products of other manufacturer ! It may lead to erroneous result ! STORAGE AND STABILITY
The reagent is stable is stable for three months, provided it is stored between 15-30 °C.
If the reagent contains any visible turbidity, change of colour etc., it has to be replaced!
Do not use the product after being frozen! EXPECTED RESULTS
It’s usage together with the reagents according to the manual leads to correct tests results.
